Kindness is Key

One of my favorite songs has the lyrics: “May you take no effort in your being generous, sharing what you can, nothing more, nothing less”. I believe everyone should live by that. And second to that everyone should live by the Law of Attraction, karma and money in the form of energy and here’s why.

The Law of Attraction basically means that you attract the way you act, think and live your life. Good actions and good thoughts bring good things into your life.

Karma always gets a bad reputation, but karma is a more popular form of the Law of Attraction. If you have negative actions, then you will have negative things happen, but the same goes for positive things.

I already have a whole blog dedicated to money in the form of energy, so go read that.

The thing that these all have in common is the fact that your thoughts and actions will attract similar outcomes or consequences. Here is a good example from today: I went to the DI to get some mason jars and ended up getting way more that a few mason jars. And for some reason, I only spent $2. How the heck did I do that? I’ll give you a hint: the DI doesn’t have coupons. I strongly believe that it was karma.

Right before I bought these things, I was trying to explain to my brother about not being attached to money and about how it should constantly be flowing in and out of your life and that money needs to be spent on things that will positively impact your life or someone else's. I kept thinking about my first real blog post about money mindset for some reason I felt like I needed to prove to him I was right, so that he could be more financially free. I have been working really hard on having a positive connection with money in hopes that I will always have “more than enough” and so far, I am succeeding. Right now, I have the financial stability to buy a stranger dinner, to take my friend to get her nails done, to buy a cute bowl for another friend, and to go on many fun dates with my sister, my boyfriend, and my grandma all without a second thought. I can do all of this because I know that it will, not only, better my relationship with myself, but also better the life of that person. Today, at the DI, I saw this bowl(it’s the bowl at the very top of the picture) and I immediately thought of my roommate, Alexis, who LOVES the ocean. Our entire living room is ocean themed. I picked it up and put it in my cart without even checking the price or thinking about it, I knew it would make her happy. And not even 10 minutes after deciding to do something nice, I was given something in return. I got everything for only $2. Karma doesn’t always happen that quickly and it usually isn’t drastic and doesn't happen all at once. I noticed this one because I was very in my face, how could I not notice it? A new goal I’m making for myself is to notice the little good things. Notice when you get random discounts, or when someone lets you go first at the checkout or when you randomly happen to get a front row parking spot at your apartment after grocery shopping. Notice them and return the favor to someone else. If everyone did one good thing every time someone did something good to them, we’d have an endless chain of kindness.

I was going to make this a short instagram post, but I felt like I had a lot more to say. You guys deserve more. I felt called to tell you all about my little life secret. I hope that after reading this, you feel called to do something nice for someone, even if it’s just getting your mom some flowers this weekend. Do good.

Remember that everything you want in life is already there and you’re the only thing stopping you from having it. Change your mindset to attract everything you want.
